Integrity= Peace & Freedom

Good day to you!!!! Today I wanted to talk about integrity. Integrity (from dictionary.com) is the adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.
               

     Some time ago, I was sitting in my place of spiritual development and during the service we were having communion, during this time the alter was open for anyone who wanted to participate and re-dedicate themselves to Yeshua in different areas of their lives. I made no hasty decision to go up, but rather i took this time to reflect long and hard  about some decisions i've made over the course of time, and I also thought about some people I found myself associating with. As I sat there, in my heart and soul I knew that I wanted to make healthier choices for my spiritual health. I had allowed poisionous behaviors into my personal space;  and in doing so I became more and more desensitized to behaviors, decisions and codes of my spiritual beliefs. As a result of this my soul began to lack the vitality I was accustomed too; I became thirsty spiritually.  I could feel the inner parts of me crave my energy source Yeshua. I can remember thinking " What are you doing!?" " What have you opened yourself up too!?" I began to weep, knowing that I no longer wanted to feel distant from my creator; though I knew he was there, I still felt distant. A few weeks prior to this, I remember calling a dear, dear, friend of mine who I love very much and thank my energy source for her often. She is like a big sister to me, though she would say mother :-) but I called her and shared some things with her and we talked and the words she spoke were like breaths of life to my soul. She affirmed what I knew and what I knew I needed to do. It is SO important to have a support person and/or group, we ALL need it. It's so easy to get off course or become distracted, having these person(s) in your life will always guide you to what is pure and true, not toxicity. Her love and grace while she spoke truth was the character and nature of that of my spiritual father. I knew in that moment that the love my energy source has for me far out weighed that of the path that I started to veer on. So as I sat there during this time of re-dedication, I made a decision. I made the decision to follow the patterns that Yeshua laid out as an option for me. I decided that nothing and no one was worth me not being properly connected to my energy source. I did not want to risk the chance of continuing making decisions that would affect my spiritual health. I wanted the vitality of my saviour again, though on the outside it "appeared" that I was one way; I knew on the inside I wasn't. What good is keeping up appearances when the very essence of who I am was at stake. After that decision, opportunities to go againist the decision I made, made itself available; but I meant what I spoke to my energy source the day I took communion. My integrity in Yeshua the Christ far outweighs the opinions, perspectives and conclusions of others. I have such peace knowing that at the end of each day I purpose to be pleasing in the face of the one who created me. I am so grateful that on this journey called life we're not left having to "figure it out". That we have a moral guide, a spiritual guide, a peaceful and truth filled guide, the holy bible to help us along the way. Yeshua's love and grace is one of the most cherishable treasures I have ever experienced! It brings about wholeness, peace and freedom. I have had the awesome and amazing privilege to have met others who share this same experience; connecting with them and growing in this experience together makes for a very rewarding life I must tell ya.

   So, in my conclusion ( :-) this has turned out to be pretty long huh :-) ) A life of integrity before the ultimate energy source ever is far more valuable than a facade before men. Never compromise your standards, no one who truly respects you or the integrity you desire to uphold will ask you too. You are worth making healthy choices and your relationship with your creator is too!
 I would like to leave you with these words of strength and empowerment if you may find yourself needing to re-evaluate some things within yourself and/or around you? " Yeshua, I desire to be close to you, closer than I am now. I ask for your grace in any and all areas of my life that didn't (doesn't) reflect your character or patterns. I desire to know you. I accept you in my life and I accept you in this  ___ (area). Guide me into your truth and I will follow. Guide me to a safe place where I may grow in my knowledge and understanding of  you. Surround me with people who have dedicated their lives to being properly connected to you so that they may stand side by side with me on this journey. I now know that I can make the choice to follow you, reflect you, live with you as my ultimate source of energy (life) and have a life of integrity, thank you"

On Site With Team Robinson MMA..

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Team Robinson MMA gym, located on 262 S. Pike West Sumter, Sc  29154 where Owner Jerome Robinson and aspiring fitness model Monique Hunter did some moves for their MMA photo shoot. While there I met some of the members of Team Robinson and quickly realized why this gym is one of the fastest growing MMA spots in town. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere was quiet unexpected considering the fact that I found mixed martial arts and intense fitness guru's very intimidating. While, on site Monique Hunter (who is in excellent shape)  made every pose seem so effortless, smiling through every one of them. I asked her when did fitness become a passion for her and she said ever since she was in elementary school. Currently in the U.S. Air Force, it is her goal to stand as an inspiration for mothers everywhere (she's a proud mother of three) to invest in their health and become  the best them they can possibly be. " As a working mom, holding down the fort with three young children I know it can be difficult to find time to take care of ones'  self but I  have  realized  in  order for me to be the absolute best mother, sister, friend, daughter and woman I can be,I must make myself and my health a top priority". As, they ( Monique and Jerome) prepared for their next pose, I asked Mr. Robinson a little about the gym and soon realized that Jerome and the members of Team Robinson are dedicated to helping the community become stronger, healthier, and safer with each and every class they teach. They offer a women's kickboxing class every Wednesday at 6p and have one of the leading youth MMA programs in Sumter and surrounding counties. Jerome says, " Not only do we specialize in teaching kids how to train in mixed martial arts and self defense we also teach them discipline and working in excellence, which many parents see transfer in other areas of their lives such as school, social enviroments, etc. Mr. Robinson will be speaking at a " Stop the Violence" Campaign on August11, 2013 at Dilon Park in Sumter, Sc to further making the community he's a  part of that much more empowered . A Breath of Fresh Air

Hello Y'all (feeling a little extra southern today! :-)) I hope you're finding many ways to enjoy this beautiful day! Today  I feel very refreshed. Sometimes it's good to getaway from the "norm" and rest, meditate, and regroup. It can be so easy to get into a rut or allow certain people, scenarios or ourselves for that matter get in the way of our goals in the many different areas of our lives. That it's good to go back to the drawing board and put things back into perspective. So, make sure you find time for yourself and the one who loves you most, your creator. Today, I will go to a beautiful park in my community surrounded by gorgeous ducks, lovely birds, and a breath taking view to  pray, meditate and become one with my energy source Yeshua. The Pen Is In Your Hands!

Hello Everyone!!!, I hope you're having a wonderful day today!! So the other day I went to the park with a friend of mine and we took our little ones and I really enjoyed seeing them play, meet other kids, fall in the sand, explore, and all the other joys of being at the park and on the playground. Seeing one of my neices play reminded me of images of myself when I was younger,  that inspired me to show her mom some of my old baby pics. So when I woke up this morning I began to think..... Have you ever looked at a baby or young child that you deemed "adorable" and wonder who will they grow up to be? Often times, when I see a small child I immediately think and say "aww, they're so cute" or "oh my gosh, how precious are they". Pretty common responses I'd say, how about you? But now let us think about our own lives or the lives of others that we may know...... Do you look at a baby and think "man their life is gonna be so hard" or " yep the day is coming where they're going to lose their job and struggle financially, to the point where they'll feel hopeless" or " divorce is in their future" "or they're going to go their whole life and have no sense of purpose and direction". I can't speak for you but I never think those thoughts when looking at a child. So why do I mention this? I believe it is extremely important for us as human beings to speak, develop and throughly prepare (in a positive manner) these cute, precious, adorable babies we have the privileges of knowing (whether personally through family relations or school system or any mentorship programs) to discover who they are early on, how to be successful in all areas of their lives and how to have and maintain a healthy spiritual life. How innocent and precious are babies to see, but left un-guided "life" has a way of molding them and their life's pattern into something less-adorable. Above is a picture of me when I was a baby. I would say I was younger than one year old. It's amazing to me that many years of that smiling baby's (me) life has already been written. If I were to look at that picture and consider the child outside of myself I would have to tell her all about what she would have to look forward too..... looking at it in that manner puts life in a whole other perspective for me. I wouldn't want to look at any childhood  picture of myself and see how happy and precious I looked and not give that child a chance at an amazing life!! From here on out (the remainder of my life) I want to look at that baby picture and say you have a real shot at an amazing and extrodinary life little girl because i'm going to make it happen for you! The story is ours for the telling! No one else's. What does your storybook say? Consider looking at your baby picture or any picture from your youth, what would you tell that child? When you see that picture know that YOU have the authority, ability and power to write the story of life for that child. No matter what life experiences you may have had and I mean NO MATTER what they are, it is NEVER too late to start afresh. It will take time and it may not be easy, but you are worth the energy and effort of creating your best life ever. Becoming mentally, spiritually, and physically strong. We can not erase our past, we can not control that which is a memory to us but we CAN have authority over our futures. Look at your baby picture, what value does that child have to you? You were created by a creator who knew the value in which you were made. You are precious and beautiful!!!! Don't allow yourself or anyone else from here on out to de-value your worth!!! Live your best life ever, you are worth it!!!! Help nurture a child into their greatest life ever, protect them, teach them, love them!!! I would like to leave you with words that I like to profess into the universe each day: I can acheive great things through my energy source Yeshua who guides me and strengthens me. I was created for a purpose, I seek enlightenment from my energy source Yeshua on my purpose so that I may always have fulfillment. Thank you Yeshua that your thoughts are positive towards me and not thoughts of negativity. Thank you for loving me in such great capacity that you have shared your energy with me  because I accept it.; because I accept the energy in which you've given I know that I am reclaimed from negative energies that would try to reinforce false truths into my enviroment. I will choose each day to live empowered and enlightenend in you.
 So folks, continue to have an amazing day or create it for yourself. It's never too late to make the necessary changes for and towards transformation. With much love to you all!xoxo

What To Do When The One You Love Says They No Longer Love You, nor Wants To Be With You.

Hello All!,

I hope you're having a super fantastic day! So today, I want to discuss What to do when the one you love says they no longer love you , nor wants to be with you anymore. I mentioned on facebook that I would be discussing this topic and I received many comments both publicly and privately.
    There are many reasons as to why a companion would make this decision and declarative statement. It's not so much that positioning I want to focus on but rather, what is one to do when what seems like their whole world shifts or changes. For some it is a well discussed, thought out mutual decision. For others it's a feeling or inclination that they "knew it was coming". However, for others they didn't see "it" coming at all. Having someone you loved or once loved so dearly reject  you can be one of the most difficult experiences to face. It leaves more questions than answers, an emotional pain that almost seems unbearable, and a desire to pick up the pieces to "normalcy" as quickly as possible. So what is one to do? First know that all hope is not lost! Allow yourself to be surrounded and loved on by people who truly and genuinely care about you. During this time you will need support. I can personally say time does heal all wounds (if you allow it). You have to make the decision to be healed; yes healing is a choice. You have to forgive the one you feel hurt and betrayed by. This process does take time. A clear sign that you are not bitter towards this person is when you don't cringe when they are around, you're not vindictive when it comes to them and you truly want the best for them regardless of your situation with them. Yes, this step will take time. Now, if you're wanting me to say reconciliation is in the air, then I will not say it :-) but what I will say is the possiblity of reconcialtion is. But I would encourage one to assess the relationship. Seek to discover where you might have contributed to the new found status of the relationship. Discover who you are outside of that relationship. Depending on how long you were with that person, your identity might be so wrapped up into them that self discovery and discovery in the purpose and reasoning the creator, created you in the first place might be necessary. Life is such a beautiful and joyous thing, trust me you can live, love and laugh again! There are SO many things I could highlight or discuss when it comes to this topic but I would sum it up here:
1. A strong spiritual life, connecting to my energy source Yeshua aided me in becoming strengthend during challenging times. I became more resilient, more empowered.
2. Supportive family and freinds. A positive support group is vital, you'll have enough "going on" during this time, avoid negative people,places and things.
3. Forgiveness, it is one of the most important steps! It is possible, no matter how hurt you may feel. *read my post here on this blog " The Choice to Forgive", it will help.
4. Self- discovery ( who are you and why are you here?) This step also ties into step 1. Connect to the creator. Discover more about yourself! Live!!! This is not the end all be all, trust me it's not. No matter how it looks now if you tap into your purpose for existence (and we all have one) you will have the most joyous, fulfilling, confident life!! Allow this situation and any obstacle you face to propel you further into greatness and success, not defeat! I'm telling you, you can live empowered!!!!
5. New hobby, try something new, experience life! You'll never know what opportunities are awaiting for you if you don't take the first step and experience something new and positive.
6.New makeover/hairstyle, why not? I mean jazzing things up will build confidence, go ahead :-) why not.
7. Time, allow yourself time. This is not an over-night process. Have the mindset of being intentional on being the best you possible and you'll get there.

  I hope this helps!!! In this life we will face many challenges. It's how we handle those challenges that determines the results we will experience in life!
